On October 3, 2018, over 60 people turned out for a Town Hall-style meeting I hosted at West Elmira’s community Center.

For me, the highlight of the evening by far was standing in front of the crowd and observing that such a diverse mix of people were all united around a common desire to move our community forward in the right direction.

Moreover, seeing all three candidates for County Executive, Elmira’s mayor and manager, the Chairpersons of both the Republican and Democratic parties along with current and former elected officials and candidates for office turn out for the event sitting beside many people who had never attended a political function in their lives confirms a theory I have had for the past year: residents of Chemung County are engaged with the issues, and we want to be involved. This is truly a great moment in our history!

I was hoping to be able to share the entire presentation, but I accidentally failed to hit record on my camera at the start of the meeting! Instead, I was able to obtain a few short clips, and have also embedded my entire PowerPoint presentation below.

As always, please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you might have.
